Name: Yu Yi Age: 24 Force: free officer in Wan Bio: Yu Yi was born in the capital Luo Yang, and grew up with a distant mother and an alcoholic father, suffering many abuses in his childhood. When his father left, he would take his sword and train some moves on the backyard trees. Being raised in a terrible environment, he learned how to defend himself against his father's beatings when he was 15. One year later, his father swore that wouldn't drink anymore, just to make Yu Yi proud. But Yu Yi saw his father drinking when he got home one day, and had a fight with him, eventually putting the sword through his chest.
After killing his father, he fled to Chang An, where he got married. But after finding out his wife was betraying him with his father's cousin, he killed them both and once again fled, this time to Wan. There, he married once again and had a daughter named Yu Pan.
When the Yellow Turbans took control of the city, they pillaged every thing in their way, including Yu Yi's house, capturing his mother and daughter and trying to kill him, but he reacted and killed the soldiers. After that, he desperately tried to save his family, but a group of Yellow Turbans got in his way, forcing him to fight. He stole a sword from a passing civilian (who, unarmed, eventually got killed) and fought the Yellow Turbans surrounding him, beheading their leader and doing something kinda strange: first, he threw the brains away and left only the cavity. Then he carried it with him and used it to drink water from a river after he left the city. A mindless and complete psychotic assassin was born.
Yu Yi was fascinated by the macabre ways he experimented. He returned to Wan after the dust settled and began living an underground life. He hid in the alleys, using trash as bed and dead dogs as pillows. He ate what he found in the trash, from putrid meat to dirty papers, and water to drink became a luxury. When night fell, he waited for a poor victim to walk by and killed it. The pinnacle of his macabre life was when he killed a civilian and took the body in, removing the insides and wearing the skin, keeping it for some days until it began to decompose. This was his life, for some years.
After the Yellow Turban Rebellion was quelled, he moved back to the capital just to find it occupied by Dong Zhuo. When he tried to enter Luo Yang, he was attacked by elite guards. Knowing that the only way to survive was to join Dong Zhuo, he asked for an audience with him and the guards laughed at him. It wasn't for nothing: his appearance was frustrating. He was thin in places he didn't even know that existed. His arms were a pain to see: in some places, you could feel the bones making a pressure on the skin to get out. He had serious walking issues, because his legs were crooked, so thin they were. But, somehow, he was accepted and made private. But he got easy promotions because of his thoughts. He gave Dong Zhuo an astonishingly great number of excellent plans, even more than his strategist Li Ru, but because of his status as private, his plans were never put in place or even accepted. For example, he suggested and advance on Ma Teng in the north when they were busy fighting Cao Cao in Chen Liu. But since Ma Teng had serious internal problems, he could fall even quicker than Cao Cao. Li Ru replied saying that Chen Liu would give them a stronghold to attack the east, only to give reason to Yu Yi in the end when he said that Chen Liu would be attacked by multiple directions: in the north, Yuan Shao; in the east, Tao Qian; in the south, Zhang Xiu and Kong Zhou.
Not only Dong Zhuo ignored his plans, but made public fun of them. This led Yu Yi to create a personal hatred of Dong Zhuo, eventually telling Lu Bu of his will to kill him. Some say it's the cause why Lu Bu killed Dong Zhuo, others say it's just coincidence. Either way, after Lu killed Zhuo, Yu Yi joined the former in his advance to Chang An, being promoted to Lieutenant General for single-handedly holding the rear against an attack made by Wang Fang. When Lu Bu was forced to withdraw after being defeated by Li Jue's forces, Yu Yi once again single-handedly held the rear, this time suffering a leg injury, that worsened his walking issues. Eventually he reached the main forces, but there he abandoned Lu Bu and fled south in direction of Wan.
In Wan, he joined Zhang Xiu, who was struggling against Shang Yong's Zhang Lu. There, he befriended Hu Che-Er, a barbarian in service under his master. After losing most of his army in a desperate attempt to retrieve Shang Yong, Zhang Xiu locked himself in his castle in fear of being attacked by Zhang Lu, and that was when Jia Xu, with Yu Yi's help, convinced his master to lure Cao Cao to Wan to assassinate him, thus getting more territories to the east. Yu Yi was sent as a messenger to invite Cao Cao to a friendly dinner in Wan Castle, but Cao Cao had other plans. In the middle of the way, Yu Yi saw Cao Cao advancing upon Wan, and joined him at once. He told him to go into Wan like if Zhang Xiu's plan had succeeded, but, once he stepped foot in the city, Hu Che-Er couldn't wait anymore and attacked Cao Cao and his bodyguard Dian Wei. Yu Yi attacked just how he liked: from behind, coming from a dark alley, with no chance of detection at all. After disposing of Hu Che-Er, he talked to Jia Xu and convinced him of joining Cao Cao. Then Zhang Xiu put fire to the castle and tried to escape jumping down from the second floor. Cao Cao simply walked out by the main door with a new recruit by his side.
Yu Yi died at 47 years old at the Battle Of Red Cliffs (Chibi), confused with Huang Gai's false betrayal.

Their friendship would continue on into their adult lives and while serving as Governor of Beiping, Gongsun Zan used his influence to have Liu Bei made Magistrate of Pingyuan. Zan possessed one of the largest armies in all China and he regularly fought against the Qiang people along the Northern Frontier. The Qiangs gave him the nickname General who Commands White Horses as he always made sure that the van was comprised of only white horses as they were considered sacred by the Qiangs.
